Hey, What’s up? My name is CJ and I’m an eighteen year old photographer. Well, that’s too much of a spot on label. I’m also a musician, songwriter, artist, skateboarder, and dog-lover. Now, that’s too much! I’m just CJ! As you can hopefully tell by now, I don’t like labels. I just create and perform.
I first started taking photos at a young age. I would steal my moms camera and sneak outside to take pictures of flowers and trees. At around 12, I started editing photos on my phone messing around with the settings and tools, teaching myself different styles. It wasn’t until many years later where I got my first professional camera. |
My first picture taken with my camera was one that would change my whole perspective. I received my camera as a Christmas present when I was 16. I started going to concerts around the time I got my camera. It wasn’t until then when I realized I could make something out of this. I began following many photographers on social media, like Tom Pallant and Damon Baker, trying to find my own style. These photographers are incredible at portraying professional photos while having the freedom to break away from their set styles. Which is what photography is all about.
